The American Islamic Outreach Foundation (AIOF) was established in July 2012 in Charlotte, NC, as a nonprofit organization. We live in a time when Islam is often misrepresented, leading to widespread suspicion of the many law-abiding and peace-loving Muslims. This misunderstanding of Islam and misconceptions about the Holy Quran have created a divide between Muslims and the broader Western world. This situation will not improve on its own; it requires a collective effort from all people who desire peace. At AIOF, we are committed to collaborating with all who seek to foster understanding and address concerns about Islam.
